Meet freddie
This handsome boy is Freddie and he is an approx 9 month old, Maltese/Poodle mix with maybe a touch of Spaniel(best guess?) that is THE sweetest boy ever! He came into our rescue when we were notified that a puppy at a local shelter had 24 hours before he was set to be euthanized. He was brought in with his mom and brother and they all got adopted separately. Freddie was returned the next day as the adopters self diagnosed him as having seizures because he was trembling. This gave him a death sentence at the shelter. We were asked if we could help and we got him out within hours and got Freddie to our vet and then to a neurologist who diagnosed him with Cerebeller Hypoplasia. Please google for more info, but basically it is a non progressive condition that makes the puppies/dogs exhibit wobbly movements, head bobbing, and jerky movements. Freddie has a mild case and can get around perfectly. In fact, he acts like any other playful puppy. We are looking for a home for him with another VERY playful dog or better yet, he can be adopted with is best friend, Tali, a female, 4 year old, Maltipoo. That would be the best for him as he is very attached to her. A home with a yard is a must along with owners that are not gone long hours during the day. Freddie is such a wonderful dog with the best personality! He loves everyone he meets and we know that his forever home is out there!
Freddie is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
We only adopt in the Greater LA areas as an in person meet/greet, home check, and trial period are required.
