Say hi to Pete—a happy, tail-wagging pup full of curiosity and charm! Pete is all about the simple joys in life: chasing toys, making new friends, and curling up for naps after a big day of play. He’s playful, affectionate, and learning how to be the best boy he can be.

Pete is working on all the important puppy skills like potty training, leash walking, and basic commands, and he’s making great progress with a little help and a lot of treats. He’s eager to please and loves being part of whatever his humans are up to.

Whether he’s exploring the backyard, snuggling on the couch, or practicing his sit, Pete does everything with heart. He’s ready to grow up with a family who will guide him with patience, love, and lots of belly rubs.

The adoption fee is $350 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.

We're open from 12-4 PM every day EXCEPT Wednesday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.

Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!

If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.  

***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
