Meet chachki
Is this not the cutest little dog!? This is mitzvah, #a2253462 now Chachki, ( and yes, it can be spelled without the "t") (its Yiddish for little trinket) from the west valley shelter. This precious 15-year-old Chihuahua has owner surrendered on March 26. After having him for 14 years, they were moving out of the country and dumped him at the shelter. A volunteer reached out to us and asked if we could rescue this dog, we had a foster ready, so of course we saved him. He saw the veterinarian today and will go to his foster home tomorrow. We're so glad we can give this little senior dog the best of the rest of his life . He is available for adoption!!
