cyrus

Meet Cyrus, born April 30, 2023, a one-of-a-kind mix of Staffordshire Terrier charm and Mini Australian Shepherd intelligence wrapped up in one very handsome package. At around 50 pounds, Cyrus is the perfect size for both adventure buddy duties and couch companion status. He has a thoughtful nature, a loyal heart, and just enough goofy personality to keep life entertaining.

Cyrus is potty trained, incredibly smart, and very motivated by snacks, which means he approaches learning with the enthusiasm of a straight-A student who also happens to accept payment in treats. He loves being included in everyday life, whether that means tagging along for errands, heading out for walks, or proudly showing off a new trick like he deserves a standing ovation afterward.

Though he may take a minute to fully settle in with new people, once Cyrus decides you are his person, that’s it — you suddenly have a very devoted shadow. Expect a loyal sidekick who follows you from room to room, supervises household activities with great seriousness, and believes personal space is mostly just a suggestion.

Beneath his playful personality is a deeply loving dog who simply wants connection and consistency. Cyrus is ready for the kind of forever home where he can keep learning, keep loving, and finally relax knowing he is exactly where he belongs.

The suggested adoption fee for Cyrus is $365. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ is a non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR are adopted with DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already spayed or neutered if old enough, or a voucher will be provided once the dog becomes of age. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home.
