Hi, I’m Cosmo, and I’ve been told I’m quite the character.I’m a two-year-old Aussiedoodle with a goofy personality and a big heart. My favorite job in life is making my people laugh. Sometimes I get so excited to see them that I bounce straight up and down like a little pogo stick. It’s hard to contain my happiness when my favorite humans walk into the room.I’m house trained and very comfortable with my crate. I actually enjoy hanging out there during bedtime, feeding time, or when my people step out for a bit. I’m also a gentleman when it comes to treats—I take them gently and even know how to catch them if you toss one my way. I know how to sit too, especially if it helps me earn a snack.I love being active. Long walks, playing fetch, and riding in the car are some of my favorite adventures. I might even make a great running buddy for someone who likes to stay on the move. When I’m out in the yard, I’m usually either playing or sitting proudly and keeping an eye on everything happening around me.I’m friendly with people and do great with older kids and teenagers. I can be a little shy around some men at first, but once I get to know you, I warm up quickly. When meeting new people, it helps if I’m asked to sit so I can calm my excitement and make a polite introduction.I’ve spent time at doggy daycare and the staff there say I’m a good boy who gets along well with other dogs. Sometimes I might give a little bark or growl when I first see a new dog or stranger on a walk because I like to keep an eye on my home and my people, but with proper introductions I settle right down.I do enjoy toys, although I have been known to remove the stuffing from them—it’s part of my creative process. I promise it’s all in good fun.My coat doesn’t shed much, but it does need regular grooming since my hair can grow long. I’m neutered, microchipped, healthy, and up to date on all my vaccines.What I’m really hoping for is a home with people who love to be active, laugh often, and don’t mind a cuddly, happy dog who is always thrilled to see them.
