WISE is entirely volunteer-run and all of the donations made to our rescue go directly back to the animals in our care. By partnering with veterinary practices that support our work, we are able to save animals lives and restore them back to health. While some animals only need standard care, others require more extensive veterinary or behavioral care. Regardless of which dog you are applying for, we are looking for adopters to support our program with a minimum donation of $850. The donation may or may not be directly applied to care of the dog you're adopting but rather goes toward supporting all of the dogs in the rescue. We appreciate the understanding of our potential adopters. A puppy-proofed space, a consistent routine, and patience for training are important. An active home that can offer supervision, playtime, and positive reinforcement will help him grow into a confident, well-adjusted dog.Personality: Raider is a playful and active pup with a super sweet personality. He loves spending his time playing with toys and having fun with his foster sister, always ready for a game or some excitement. Dogs like Raider were rejected for reasons ranging from birth defects, being born with the wrong color fur or eyes, or just simply because no one wanted to purchase them. When the dogs are not sold, the puppy mills destroy them, and it is legal to do so.
