Some dogs burst into your life with confidence… and some, like Flash, quietly work their way into your heart and stay there forever. 💛

At 10 months old and 13 pounds, Flash is still very much a puppy at heart — just one who’s learning the world a little later than most. Coming from a hoarding situation, he missed out on some of the basics early on… but you’d never know it by how beautifully he’s starting to blossom.

This sweet boy has already made incredible progress. What once was a shy, unsure pup is now a little guy who will come up for pets, seek out affection, and is discovering just how good life can be.

And honestly? He’s kind of crushing it.
• House training? Doing fantastic.
• Doggie door? Learned it practically overnight (show-off 😄)
• Making dog friends? Yes please.
• Toys? Still figuring them out, but very interested.

Flash is smart, curious, and very treat motivated, which makes him a wonderful student for learning all the things he may have missed early on — leash walking, confidence building, and all the fun parts of being a beloved family dog.

He’s currently working on his leash skills, and once he’s comfortable, he’ll be the perfect buddy for leisurely neighborhood strolls or mild outdoor adventures.

With other dogs, Flash is doing great — he’s even starting to play and would truly benefit from a confident canine sibling to help show him the ropes and remind him that everything is okay. Cats? He’s met one and was curious but respectful — a true gentleman.

Because he’s still gaining confidence, Flash would do best with older kids who understand patience and gentle interactions.

Now, about his name…
Let’s just say it fits. Not only does he have a little lightning bolt marking on his chest, but when he gets the zoomies? You’ll see exactly how he earned it. Blink and you might miss him. ⚡

But his markings isn’t what makes him special:
It’s the way he’s learning to trust.
