With his striking black and tan good looks and soulful eyes, he’s a total head-turner, but it’s his personality that really makes him unforgettable. Equal parts clever, cuddly, and charmingly goofy. He enjoys getting out for walks and playtime, but he is just as happy to settle down and relax with his people after he’s had some activity.   He is a classic “velcro dog” who loves being close to his humans and soaking up attention. One of his most endearing traits is his signature hugs. Rupert does well in his crate, rides nicely in the car, and handles baths like a champ.  He is friendly with other dogs and loves having canine companions to snuggle and spend time with. Rupert has not yet been tested with cats.  Rupert is still young and learning boundaries so no young children would be best for him.  Pre-teen and teens are A-OK.
