Joplin was brought into the shelter with her litter mates from a situation where there were too many dogs to take care of.We have learned that Joplin is a happy-go-lucky, playful, and rambunctious dog who craves attention and loves to play. She walks very well on leash and loves to trot around the play yard and lay in the grass.Joplin has graduated from Puppies for Parole. Her handler said she did very well. She adjusted well to her new environment and has learned her basic commands. She is very treat motivated and can easily be taught things like sit, roll over, etc. She is a little shy around strangers but warms up quickly. They think she will do well in any family, even one with kids that are respectful of her and gives her time to adjust.
