Wavy is a five year old Shih Tzu and is a charming and funny girl. She's affectionate but is still Tim and shy when meeting new people. She’s very polite, well behaved, pretty much potty trained, and loves belly rubs. She’s still on her leash training, and she’s getting better at it everyday! She’s is curious about everything. She’s pretty athletic and she’s will definitely show more after settling into new home. Wavy’s tail tells everything, it wags a lot even on her first day home and still scared of people. Wavy can sleep from midnight straight to morning. She likes to play with her toys in her pen and will explore when she feels calm.

She sleeps in bed next to a crate, and sometimes naps in bed in the crate. She uses potty pads indoor since she’s still on leash training. Nearly no accidents using potty pads, although she may need to adjust in a new environment. Wavy sleeps and naps a lot! She’s sometimes barks if she’s excited. She is good with other dogs. Wavy is a great choice for apartment dog as she can stay at home when people are out for work. She is very cute and sweet as she will show a lot of love to you.

A Quick but Important Note to All Adopters:
Please remember that none of our dogs arrive fully trained. Most come from tough or uncertain beginnings and may have never lived in a home or known basic routines. That means:

✧ They are not potty trained on arrival. Most dogs regress in potty training when moving to a new environment.

✧ They may lack basic manners (like leash walking or appropriate chewing).

✧ They’re learning, growing, and doing their best—but they will need patience, structure, and compassion to succeed.

The majority of these pups have lived in the confinement of a cage or kennel run for most - if not all - of their lives. Because of this, we strongly discourage the use of crates for anything other than vehicle transport. They deserve the chance to decompress and learn what true freedom and comfort feel like.

Our amazing foster homes work hard to start these dogs on the right path, but they are rescues, not finished products. These dogs need time, consistency, and a loving home willing to meet them where they are.

Also, breed designations are our best guesses based on appearance and behavior. We can't guarantee breed, size, adult weight, or coat type.
