Meet benny
Benny is a funny, playful, very sweet, 2 year old Shihtzu mix who is 14 pounds! He goes potty outside when let out on a schedule, he LOVEs running around our fenced yard and walks well on leash. He sleeps well at night in an enclosed area with open crate. He gets along well with other respectful small dogs after a responsible introduction. Benny is looking for a patient and understanding home that can support his unique needs. Due to severe matting before he was groomed, he has developed some sensory sensitivities and may be cautious with certain touch. With time, consistency, and a gentle approach, Benny will continue to trust and build confidence. He’ll do best with someone who can move at his pace and provide a calm, reassuring environment where he feels safe. He is available for adoption at New Beginnings Shih Tzu Rescue.
