Meet Shadow, a 7–8 month old sweetheart who has already fought so hard just to be here!

Shadow was found on the side of the road with his two siblings, all of them very sick and struggling to survive. It was touch and go — they were rushed into care, and heartbreakingly, one of his siblings didn’t make it. Shadow spent over a month at the vet, fighting through illness and slowly gaining strength.
Today, he’s a completely different dog — healthy, fully vetted (including neuter), and full of life.

Despite everything he’s been through, Shadow is pure love. He is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves everyone he meets — people, dogs, anyone willing to give him attention. His resilience is amazing, and his ability to trust and love after such a rough start is even more incredible.

Now he’s ready for his forever home, where he’ll never have to fight for his life again — just enjoy soft beds, kind hands, and a family who will cherish him the way he deserves. Shadow is nearly fully grown at 27lbs. He is being fostered in NJ but can be adopted across the US. Shadow is doing amazing with potty training but isn't totally perfect just yet!
