Meet toyo
SINGLE-DOG HOUSEHOLD (required).
Toyo is a 2 year old, AKC pure-bred, golden retriever. He is a home-body and loves to stay at home with his person, go on slow walks to sniff all the flowers, and will do anything to get treats. He's gone on mini hikes and has shown lots of appreciation for outdoors as well. He is an extrovert - he wants to say hi to every human being he encounters. Although he has a few tricks up his sleeve - potty, sit, wait, eat - he would benefit from getting more K9 training, particularly with his leash walk, recall, and also setting boundaries.
We require that Toyo be re-homed where he is the only dog. He's shown tendencies of rough "play"/bullying and resource-guarding when living with other dogs. He has ok temperament when playing with other dogs in dog parks, just not living with them. It would be great if he gets proper training to address this character as well.
He is a sweet boy who deserves 100% of the attention, space, and resources. Serious inquiries!
