Hiya Friends! My name is Glencara, Cara for short. I am a 14-18 month old gorgeous black sable German Shepherd. I am located near Nashville TN and will be available for transport.
Quick Facts
Age: 14-18 months
Kids: will do fine with kids
Dogs: great with other large dogs
Cats: no cats
Training: needs full obedience training
1. I came to IDGSR around St. Patrick's Day so thats where I get my cool name from. Glencara, aka Cara, is an Irish name that means "Valley of Friends".
2. I am a gorgeous girl with a heart of gold! I'm smart, loyal, friendly, athletic, have high energy, and love to play.
3. I get along great with the other large male doggos. It is SO fun to have zoomies in the yard!
4. My ideal home is one that is active, loving, and has an unlimited supply of treats. I'm ready to live a life fit for a princess!
5. I do need standard obedience training. The cool this is I'm already super smart so if you have tasty treats, I'll learn just about anything you can teach me!
6. If you're looking for a friendly, resilient, loving, smart, energetic, athletic, and overall amazing new companion - I'm your girl!

***IMPORTANT ADOPTION INFORMATION***
-ALL dogs are fostered in TENNESSEE unless otherwise noted
-We do transport dogs to the east coast; a transport fee will apply
-All dogs are up-to-date on vaccinations, heart-worm testing, monthly preventatives, & are spayed or neutered
-Puppies under 6-months of age will require a SPAY/NEUTER CONTRACT, a portion of the adoption fee will be refunded upon documentation of the spay/neuter
-An application must be submitted before scheduling an appointment to meet a dog
-Dogs are introduced to prospective adopters BY APPOINTMENT ONLY
-Due to the high volume of emails we receive, first priority will be given to those with submitted applications
-All rescue work is done by dedicated volunteers, please be respectful of their time
-Not able to adopt? Consider FOSTERING one of our wonderful dogs!
