Ranchero is fun and sweetness all rolled into a big goofy ball of fur!! This handsome boy is a pretty much fully grown shepherd mix who weighs about 54 lbs now (and may fill out a bit) who is ready to find his family and share all of the love he has. Ranchero has shown that he plays well with other dogs, especially those around his size, and is easy to please. A shepherd in all of the best forms, he will bond strongly with his people but will also
do best with regular activity and stimulation. After all of that is done, do you have an extra spot on the couch next to you? Ranchero will happily sit and snuggle after running around the backyard. Make an appointment to meet this sweet boy and you'll fall in love instantly.
*Sleepover feedback: "Ranchero is just the sweetest soul. You can tell he's super smart and tries to figure things out when they're new to him! He was very friendly to every new face he met and did really great on walks. We walked with people and dog friends and he was relaxed with all of them. He doesn't pull except when excited, but even then he's quick to calm down. He seemed a little unsure what strollers were. He preferred walks in parks or greenways vs. sidewalks where cars drove by, but I think that is just because the cars were noisy. He LOVED curling up on his doggie bed I put out for him.
