Meet Lavender—aka Sydney 💜🐾
Sydney (because she looks like part Australian Cattle Dog and the name just fits!) is a 4-month-old, 16-pound bundle of fluff currently being fostered in Lovettsville, VA.
She’s been settling in beautifully with her foster family and has made herself right at home. Sydney is smart, feisty, and full of personality, and she loves playing with her foster siblings—she can absolutely hold her own and learns quickly just by watching them. After a full day of play, everyone is happily worn out and snoozing.
Sydney is also a very sweet, gentle girl. She can be a little timid when approaching at first, but she truly loves being around people. Once she’s comfortable, she’ll quietly sit with you like a little statue, soaking up head rubs and attention. She’s still working on potty training—both outside and with pee pads—but she’s eager to learn and already picking up on routines.
With her striking looks, big personality, and loving nature, Sydney is ready to find her forever home where she can keep learning, playing, and being adored. 🐶💜
