Meet paddi
Paddi is a dog that really didn't have the best start. He came to someone's home as a stray and they loved and cared for him as they could, but he wound up spending all of his days in the individual's basement with very little social interaction. He was a young pup at the time, so he didn't have the best foundation for success.
Every experience for Paddi is new and unique; he is fearful with good reason. He's never known how to be a dog and do dog-like activities. Now, we're trying to repair his foundation and help him build his confidence.
In the time we've known him, we have learned that he is incredibly intelligent. He is a Chihuahua/Australian shepherd mix. He is very gentle on a leash and is a quiet, faithful walking buddy. He rarely ever barks. He would possibly do okay in a home with other animals if a proper introduction were conducted. Given his fearful state, we feel a home without small children would be best.
At under a year old, Paddi has such potential. He needs someone willing to show him that the world isn't such a scary place.
