Meet patti
Patti is a 5-year-old Shih Tzu with a sweet but shy personality who will need time and patience to warm up. She came from a puppy mill and is just beginning to learn what life in a loving home is all about. Patti is not a snuggly lap girl but is very content to be close by her people getting pets and scratches on her terms. Patti has done well with her potty skills as long as she has a consistent routine. She walks fairly well on a leash and enjoys going out for short strolls around the neighborhood. Patti will need a calm adult only home with people who are gentle and allow her to move at her own pace. Another confident dog in the home to help her learn the ropes of “dogging” would be best for her. Patti loves to explore and sunbath in the great outdoors and will require a secure fenced yard so she can do this safely. With time, love, and understanding, Patti has all the potential to become a loyal and loving companion. Patti is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, had a dental, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped. Patti’s adoption fee is $350.00. Please go to our website aaprescue.org to learn about our adoption process.
