Meet Nelson. Nelson is a Lab and Malinois shepard  mix puppy. His date of birth is 12/5/2025. He came to us from an "oops" litter along with his other siblings. Nelson is a typical playful puppy with lots of puppy energy and likes to chew things but is easily redirected with his toys. He is very sweet and likes to snuggle just as hard as he plays! He is also very smart and picks up on things very quickly. He does wonderful in his crate at night and will sleep through the night without a peep as long as he can be in a bedroom with you so he knows he is not alone. He is still working on potty training, walks good on a leash, and rides well in the car.  Nelson has only one downfall - he does not cooperate with being left alone during the day while we are at work. If he feels like he is alone/secluded from the other dogs in the home, he will bark the entire time and get himself overly worked up despite our many efforts to correct this behavior. For this reason, it is imperative that there is another dog in the house to keep him company while being left alone at home.  Having another dog in his sight helps to ensure that he knows he is not alone and completely corrects the behavior.  We currently have his crate right next to our other dog's crate and he is completely content this way.  He currently lives with 3 other dogs of all shapes and sizes and loves to play with the younger, more playful one in the house.Nelson is going to be an active dog and will need someone who will have the time to give him the physical and mental stimulation that he will need. We do expect him to grow to be a larger dog. Nelson is good with kids.   Nelson is now neutered, up to date with vaccines for his age and microchipped.
