FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED:
Meet Honey! 🍯💕 Honey is a 7-year-old, 63-lb Rottweiler/Lab mix with a gentle heart and a sensitive soul. This sweet girl can be shy and a little skittish at first, but with patience and a calm environment, she begins to relax and show her friendly, affectionate side.
Honey walks nicely on leash and likes to stay close to her person—sometimes a little too close! When she’s feeling nervous, she may walk right by your side or underfoot for reassurance. Because loud noises and busy environments can startle her, Honey would do best in a quiet suburban or rural home with less traffic and commotion. She’s looking for someone patient who can help her feel safe as she learns the world isn’t such a scary place.
She has done well with other dogs in our care and would likely benefit from having a confident canine companion in the home to help her feel more secure and show her the ropes. She is gentle, food-motivated, and takes treats very softly, which will make training and confidence-building much easier.
Honey’s ideal home:
• A calm, quiet environment
• Suburban or rural setting with low traffic and noise
• A patient adopter who can help build her confidence
• A friendly dog companion would be a big plus
Honey has not yet been tested with cats or children.
With time, patience, and love, this sweet girl has all the potential to blossom into a loyal and devoted companion
Honey is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $400.
