At West Valley Animal Rescue, we do things a bit differently. While many rescues take days to respond or never reply at all, we move fast. The application (link below) is the first step and helps us confirm that you and your household are a great fit. Once you submit it, text us right away. We’ll review it quickly, and if approved, we can often schedule a same-day adoption appointment so dogs spend less time waiting and more time loved.

💗 Meet Prudence 💗 A tiny sweetheart who just wants to be close. Prudence is the sweetest little girl who would happily spend her entire day curled up in your lap soaking in love and attention. She has a gentle, affectionate nature and thrives on closeness with her people. Prudence is a petite girl, so she will need a home that can be mindful and respectful of her small size to keep her safe and comfortable. She came to us from the recent 62-dog home we assisted with, and it is clear she was loved, as she has done well with kids and other dogs. Prudence learned to use puppy pads in her previous home and has been introduced to using a dog door in her foster home, and with her loving personality she will make a devoted little companion.

Prudence’s adoption donation includes her age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, spay, microchip, collar, leash and 30 days of complimentary pet insurance. Apply below to adopt Prudence.

We are a foster-based rescue with homes mainly in Goodyear and Buckeye. If approved, you’ll meet a volunteer or foster family at a local pet store we partner with or at a foster home for adoption.
