Fiji arrived safely in Wisconsin on March 21, 2026 with Mutt Life Dog Rescue and is settling beautifully into her foster home—already doing great and showing her sweet personality.

Meet Fiji!
Fiji is a 3-month-old Aussie/Hound mix puppy who came to the rescue as part of an unwanted litter of four. Now thriving in her foster home, she’s ready to find a loving family to continue her journey.

Fiji is a playful, sweet, and curious pup who loves spending time with people and exploring her surroundings. Like most young puppies, she will need guidance with potty training, crate training, and learning household routines—but she’s at the perfect age to learn quickly and form a strong bond with her new family.

She would do best in a home that can provide patience, consistency, and plenty of love as she grows into a confident, happy adult dog. Fiji is affectionate, lively, and ready to become a cherished member of her forever family.

Adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter, up-to-date deworming, vaccinations, heartworm prevention (age appropriate), and a certified veterinarian inspection within 30 days of adoption.

Adoption Process:

Apply: Submit a complete application with all required documents.
Application Review: Approved applicants will be notified via phone and email.
Foster-to-Adopt Trial: Meet your dog and bring them home for a 5-day trial period.
Final Decision: Let us know your decision by the end of the trial period.
Home Visit: Conducted in person or via Zoom after adoption to ensure a smooth transition.
Spay/Neuter Requirement: If not already altered, adopters must complete the procedure. Reimbursement is provided with proof:
Full reimbursement if completed at HAWS Snip Clinic (Waukesha, WI) or Wisconsin Community Veterinarian Center (Madison, WI)
$125 reimbursement if completed at another veterinary clinic
Recommended around 6 months of age

Note: Adoptions are not finalized until spay/neuter is completed, if applicable.
