Indigo is sweetheart looking for a foster home where he can relax and heal after recently being treated for Heatworm. He is required to remain leash-walk only for the next 6-8 weeks, but loves the outdoors and sunshine! Indigo absolutely loves humans and is happiest when he’s spending time with his person. He’s a quick learner, eager to please, and enjoys mental enrichment like training, puzzle toys, and gentle attention. With his bright mind and loving personality, he’s a wonderful companion who forms strong bonds with the people around him.
Because of his past struggles with other animals, Indigo will need to be the only pet in the home. A quiet space without other dogs or cats will help him feel comfortable and set him up for success.
This boy will make a great partner for someone who loves the outdoors, couch cuddles and afternoon naps. If you’re able to open your home to a loving dog who just needs a little time and care to heal, Indigo will reward you with affection, companionship, and plenty of grateful tail wags.
