Meet jack jack

Jack Jack is a 10-year 66.8 pound magnificent brindle color hound lab mix. He became a part of CAWS family recently rescued from a life spent behind a warehouse year round in a dog house with straw. We are so extremely thankful to have this hunk of a gentleman as part of our pack. He got a bath the next day in his new foster home. We immediately got him to the vet where he had blood work done, a neuter and badly needed dental with numerous teeth extracted. He has no known medical issues, thank the stars! Much to our delight he is totally house trained but he gets let out regularly. He loves company of the other furkids in his foster home, male and female, big and small. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He didn’t know what it meant that he could actually lay his tired and precious body on a soft, warm bed and actually be inside the house, but we went ever so slow with him and coaxed him to lay his handsome head and body on a bed and even join everyone else on the couch, whew. Jack Jack is literally has a striking and irresistible presence, you can’t not help but just want to be in his presence, cuddle and pet him and play with his beautiful ears, sigh. He is safe and secure now, patiently waiting for an remarkable family to welcome him to his new furever home he can call his own, with unconditional love. Jack Jack lounges in his open-door crate or on the couch. He rides wonderfully in the car, has his own fold up ramp so he can easily get in and out of the car. At this time of his life Jack Jack needs to go to a home with a backyard, a couple stairs max, preferably 2-legged people who work from home or are retired, but he can totally be trusted in the home alone, older responsible children. He will need occasional brushings or a spa day to stay good-looking. If you are looking for a glorious chap to be an unconditional friend, please make arrangements for a meet and greet.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. His adoption fee is $100.
