Meet merlin
Merlin is a loyal, affectionate dog who forms very strong bonds with his family. Hes a large, laid-back guy who enjoys lounging around the house but still loves a good walk, about a mile is his sweet spot. Outside, he enjoys watching the yard and making sure squirrels stay out.
He loves attention from his people: pats, scratches, tug-of-war, and sometimes fetch. Merlin is potty trained and crate trained, and his crate is a place he genuinely enjoys and uses as his safe space.
He has had professional training and knows sit, down, off, and heel. His energy level is mostly low with occasional bursts of playful feistiness.
Merlin gets along well with cats, kids, and other dogs. He has attended doggy daycare many times and has done well around other dogs.
We are rehoming Merlin because once he bonds with a family he becomes very protective of the home, so he needs to be crated when visitors come over. He would do best with a fenced yard or larger property where he can enjoy the outdoors
