Meet Lacy, our 2.5-year-old 50 lb rescue! She is an incredibly loving, loyal, and calm companion who just wants to be by your side. She loves snuggling up on the couch or in bed. Lacy is wonderfully behaved at home, fantastic on walks (non-reactive to people or other dogs), and has a blast playing at doggy daycare!

As much as we adore her, we are expecting a baby and must make the heartbreaking decision to rehome her. Lacy bonds strongly and exhibits guarding behavior around me, especially when visitors arrive. She did have a bite incident in May 2025. Since then, we've invested in extensive training and tried medication, resulting in zero incidents since!

Because she still shows protective tendencies, we and our trainer agree it isn't safe to keep her with a newborn. Lacy will absolutely thrive in a calm home without small children or frequent visitors, where she can be your snuggly best friend.
