Meet Eddy! A 4-year-old, 65-ish pound, black Lab
Looking for a weekend warrior hiking buddy? Eddy may be your girl.
This beautiful black Lab is athletic, smart, and full of life. She loves being outside and would thrive with someone who enjoys hiking, running, exploring trails, or simply spending active time outdoors. Give Eddy a soccer ball and some open space and she’s in her happy place.
Eddy knows sit, down, and place, enjoys treats and food puzzles, and loves interactive play with her people. She’s affectionate too — after a good day of adventure she’s happy to relax and soak up pets and cuddles.
She is house trained, crate trained, and travels well, making her a great candidate for road trips, outdoor adventures, and active weekends.
Right now Eddy lives with elderly owners who unfortunately can’t keep up with her energy level, which means she spends more time crated than she should. Because of this, she hasn’t had the opportunity to get the exercise, training, and engagement that a young Lab needs. In a more active home with structure and consistency, Eddy has the potential to truly thrive.
Eddy would do best in a home where she can have her person’s attention and continue working on her training and manners.
