Meet sammy
I adopted Sammy from the Dallas shelter when he was 10 months old. He is now 17 months old and he is a very silly, intelligent, energetic and loyal dog. He loves food but his favorite snacks are peanut butter, cheese, collagen sticks and watermelon. He would love a home with a yard to play fetch in, and a human to love and protect with his life. Sammy knows basic commands like sit, spin, down, and stay, but he will do anything for a treat. I love him very much and I would love to be his forever home, but my situation is very complicated and sensitive. He gets along with my roommate’s dog, but whilst in my care he got attacked by an off leash dog and has been dog reactive ever since. I have tried my hardest to train him, but I have a baby on the way and will have to move soon, so I cannot afford professional training, or the stress that comes with all of it. I would love for him to find his forever home with somebody that can dedicate their time to love, understand and care for him.
