Meet Daisy!

A loyal five-and-a-half-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier currently in Naperville, Illinois, whose calm presence feels like a warm shadow happily following her favorite people wherever they go.

Daisy is the kind of companion who forms a deep bond with her people and loves staying close, often resting by their feet or walking right beside them like a devoted little bodyguard. Though she may appear shy when meeting someone new, patience, kindness, and a few tasty treats quickly help her warm up. Once she feels comfortable, Daisy reveals her true personality, affectionate, loyal, and wonderfully cuddly!

Her favorite days are simple and cozy. She enjoys chewing her toys, stretching out in a sunny spot on the deck or inside the house, and spending time in the yard taking in all the interesting scents of the day. When the evening settles in, Daisy happily curls beside her humans while they read a book or watch television, quietly enjoying the comfort of being together.

This sweet girl is healthy, house-trained, crate-trained, and already familiar with helpful cues like sit, stay, come, and off. Car rides are another activity she happily joins, calmly riding along for the adventure! Daisy also appreciates having a cozy crate nearby, sometimes choosing it as her quiet retreat when she wants a peaceful nap.

She is friendly with other dogs, yet she may truly thrive as the only dog where she can soak up even more attention and companionship. A calm home with one or two adults or older children would suit her beautifully, especially with people who enjoy quiet routines and including a loyal companion in everyday life. She does appreciate a fenced yard where she can relax outside and watch the world at her own easy pace.
