Pip Squeak is a 1-year-old altered Mini Australian Shepherd with a big personality packed into a perfectly pint-sized floof! This smart, happy, curious boy is looking for his forever home — and he just might be looking for you. Pip and another small aussie were transferred to us from a shelter.  

Pip Squeak LOVES to play and has only chewed on chew toys. He would thrive in an active home. He gets along ok with other dogs with a slow controlled introduction first and would enjoy having a canine sibling to romp around with. He can be a bit rough in play at times but corrects easily. He hasn’t been cat tested and does have a high curiosity for critters.

This social, friendly guy is a little shy with new people but will open up and make new friends and follows the lead of other dogs he trusts. He is learning to walk nicely on a leash and absolutely loves to run — whether it’s zoomies in the yard or joining you on walks. He’s happiest when he’s outside exploring, and playing with his foster dog brother, but he’s also polite and will take care of his business right away.

Pip Squeak is still young and can be a little anxious around brand-new things, but with reassurance and consistency, he blossoms beautifully. When he’s unsure or scared, he looks to his favorite human for comfort — a quiet reminder of how deeply he bonds with his people. He’s not much of a lap dog, but he is a world-class *leaner*. He’ll gently press against your legs, soaking up closeness in his own sweet way. 

At home, Pip Squeak has a playful mischievous streak — your slippers may mysteriously relocate to his bed or favorite place, but don’t worry… he’ll steal your heart even faster than he steals your shoes.  He loves to hear his humans laugh so will act silly at times just to make your day.   At bedtime, he’s flexible: he’ll sleep quietly in his kennel or curl up sweetly at the foot of his favorite human’s bed.

If you’re looking for a loyal, active, affectionate companion who will keep you smiling, moving, and feeling loved (sometimes quite literally with kisses), Pip Squeak might just be your perfect match.
