Meet oscar
Oscar is a 10-month-old Great Pyrenees looking for a home where he can thrive. He is a loving, cuddly dog who loves to play, go on walks, and spend time outdoors. He enjoys attention and would do best with someone who has the time and space to work with him. Oscar does have resource guarding behaviors, so he will need an owner willing to continue consistent one-on-one training. Aside from that, he is generally well behaved and has a good start on basic training. He has grown up around one dog and one cat, but he hasn’t gotten along well with them, again due to resource guarding. Because of this, we believe Oscar would do best in a single-pet home, or with someone experienced working with dogs who need careful introductions.
We took Oscar in hoping we could provide the home he needed, but with a baby on the way and limited space, we realized we cannot give him the time, training, and environment he deserves. Our goal is simply to find him the right home where he can succeed.
