Meet sonic
Sonic is a 2.5-year-old dog who came from an out-of-state rescue after being found tied to a tree. Despite that start, he has become a loving companion who enjoys cuddling, playing fetch, and being close to his people. He is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash, and is generally quiet except when someone comes to the door.
He currently lives with an older dog and a cat and does well with both after a short adjustment period.
We are rehoming him because our home with young children has not been the best fit. There have been several incidents where he has snapped at the kids. We have worked with a behavior therapist and completed board-and-train, but we haven’t been able to identify all his triggers. Because of this, he would do best in a calm home without young children.
He is house trained but can be a shy pooper and prefers someone nearby when outside. In the right environment, he is a loyal and affectionate dog. Reach out if you’d like to learn more. 🐾
