Meet Ritz! Some dogs come into your life quietly… and then become your whole heart That’s Ritz.
This 7-year-old Akita mix is the kind of companion who simply wants to be near his people. Whether he’s going for a walk, playing fetch, or relaxing at your feet after a long day, Ritz is happiest when spending time with the humans he loves.
Ritz is smart, loyal, kennel and potty trained, and listens well to commands He enjoys structure, understands routines, and truly wants to please the people he trusts. He has a calm confidence about him that makes you feel like you’ve known him forever
Like many loyal Akitas, Ritz forms strong bonds and would thrive as the only pet in the home where he can soak up all the love and attention for himself In return, he will give you unwavering loyalty, companionship, and plenty of moments to make you smile
Ritz has so much love left to give What he needs now is someone willing to give him the forever home he’s been waiting for.
Maybe that person is you!!!
The adoption fee is $250* + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. *Part of Ritz' adoption fee has been sponsored by someone who loves him! His adoption is now $150 + tax.
We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.
Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!
If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.
***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
