Meet rocky
He has 2 health problems:
1. IVDD (Degenerative Disk) - it is not usually an issue, but he has flare ups that require one week of steroids and a day or two of pain meds 1-2 times per year.
2. Seizures - his vet has recommended seizure medications, but we are financially unable to provide this for him. The seizures do not cause pain and have not caused any neurological problems for him. They are spaced out to 2-3 times a year as of right now. Taking him off Nexgard slowed them down a lot. They last for a few minutes and he sometimes loses control of his bladder or bowels during an episode.
Otherwise, he is in good health. We keep his weight low, maintain his preventatives and his vaccines, and we can provide vet records. He is 9 years old, housebroken, and relatively good at following directions. He is EXTREMELY sweet. He is very much a lap dog and loves to snuggle up on the couch. He is an amazing dog who just needs more love and attention than we are able to provide for him now.
