Meet Loki! This handsome 6-year-old neutered Pit Bull is ready to start his next chapter with a family who understands his needs and can help him thrive.
Loki was surrendered after experiencing conflict with another dog in the home. He had previously lived with a dog for years, but more recently began showing aggression and starting fights. Because of this, Loki may do best as the only pet in the household or with a very experienced owner who can carefully manage introductions and provide structure. He has not lived with cats, so a feline-free home may be the safest option.
The good news? Loki absolutely loves people — especially kids! His previous owner reports he’s wonderful with children, and staff have observed that he is very friendly and social with everyone he meets. He’s eager to get out of his kennel, easy to leash, and clearly enjoys spending time with his humans.
Loki is a high-energy guy who will benefit from daily exercise, enrichment, and continued training. He does pull hard on leash, but he already knows how to sit on command and is eager to learn more.
