Meet artemis in verona va

Location: Verona, VA - & This sweet, athletic girl is looking for a loving home where she can truly shine. She is roughly 5 years 10 months old. She absolutely adores children and is currently best friends with a 6-year-old, happily joining in on dress-up, cuddles, and playful roughhousing. Artemis is making progress in house training and being in a crate when you're not at home. She’s eager to learn and does especially well during one-on-one training sessions, where she can focus and show off how smart she is. She already knows sit and working on some fun tricks like, roll over, shake and even jumping through a hoop. With her impressive vertical height and natural athleticism, she could be an excellent candidate for agility or other active adventures. Outdoors, she can be a bit ADHD and easily distracted by everything happening around her, as she’s very interested in what everyone else is doing and sometimes struggles to stay focused. With continued training and patience, this is something she can keep improving on. She is currently learning how to live with cats and is making progress, but she will still need supervision as she continues to learn appropriate boundaries. Artemis is currently living with two other dogs in her foster home, but would suggest a meet and greet with new dogs as her high energy level can be too overwhelming. Above all, she’s a BIG cuddler who loves being close to her people and thrives on companionship and affection.
