Location: Verona, VASebastian: lucky pup looking for his luckier forever home! Sebastian really is a special case. He came to us EXTREMELY underweight, weak and sick. You can't shrink a pittie head, though, which made him look like he would topple head over tea kettle at any moment. Sebastian went from 46 pounds to a now healthy 60 pounds in about 2 months. Now that he looks less like a skeleton with fur and has experienced some love and affection, he's ready to find his forever home!! This loving boy doesn't present well in the kennels - he doesn't like being cooped up! - but when he's out in the play yard or going for walkies, he's as sweet as can be. Sebastian loves his zoomy sessions; not to mention a good, sturdy long-chew toy. Get those kongs ready!! Once he gets some of his initial energy out, he then relishes belly rubs and diving into your lap for snuggles. We think he'd be best as a solo pup, and likely without cats (unknown, but just a hunch), but we think he'd LOVE kids! Sebastian recently went into a short-term foster home, and his foster had great things to say! "Sebastian has been amazing to foster. He is such a loving dog. He likes to be close by and loves attention but also curls up and takes a nap. He is definitely a puller on a leash though. He loves playing with toys and can and will destroy them if they aren’t durable. He has done great in the house and knows exactly what to do when let outside. He has even gone in the crate without using treats to get him in there. His energy is mostly calm but he does get the zoomies occasionally. I’m not sure how he is around kids or other animals but he has been great in a house by himself." Please give this handsome tuxedo man a chance!!!
