chandler

Chandler is a young Lab mix puppy who we pulled from the shelter because he had a wound on both his face and his leg that we thought may need surgical intervention. Thankfully both the vet and the surgeons at the hospital do not think that is the case and Chandler is now about all healed and we think ready to go! His foster has been working on potty training and crate training with Chandler him and though he doesn't seem to be a big fan of the crate and does vocalize quite a bit when in it, we have worked with a dog counselor on what we think is his separation anxiety and his foster is continuing the recommendations from him on how to work with Chandler. Because of his vocalization we do not think he would do great currently in an apartment setting. He seems to do great with his foster dog siblings so we think he could be good with other dogs and he def is the sweetest little guy! His foster says that he is the most chill puppy and he is SO SMART and picks up on training very quickly! He also could be a great family dog as long as kids understand that he is a puppy but his foster is working on his mouthiness as well. He truly is a great boy!!!April 27, 2026, 11:13 am
