chandler

Chandler is a young Lab puppy who we pulled from the shelter because he had a wound on both his face and his leg that we thought may need surgical intervention. Thankfully both the vet and the surgeons at the hospital do not think that is the case and Chandler is now all healed and we think ready to go! We are still learning about this little guy and his healing foster has been working on potty training and crate training him though he doesn't seem to be a big fan of the crate and does vocalize quite a bit when in it. We have a dog counselor coming to work with them on what we think is his separation anxiety and hope to do that ASAP. Because of his vocalization we do not think he would do great currently in an apartment setting. He seems to do great with his foster dog so we think he could be good with other dogs and he def is the sweetest little guy!March 17, 2026, 10:33 am
