Meet bernie
Bernie is a 115 lb Lab/Shepherd mix located in Louisville (Jeffersontown area). He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. Bernie is a loving, loyal boy who enjoys walks and being with his person. He’s medium energy — playful at times but mostly a laid-back lounger.
He’s grown up with my son since he was a baby and is good with kids. He has experience living with dogs and cats. Bernie is house-trained, crate-trained (his safe space), knows basic commands, and is good on and off leash.
He does have separation anxiety and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the day. He takes trazodone when left alone. No other health issues.
He’ll come with his crate, bed, heartworm prevention, and supplies. Rehoming due to my work schedule — I want him to have the time and attention he deserves.
