Meet peanut

Meet Peanut  Full of energy, curiosity, and tail wags, this young girl is ready to take on the world — she just needs a forever family to do it with! She’s always up for an adventure, whether it’s a long walk, a game of fetch, or exploring new sights and smells. Life with her is never boring — she brings joy and excitement everywhere she goes. Peanut is smart and eager to please, she’s at the perfect age to continue learning and growing with her new family. With a little guidance and consistency, she’ll thrive and become the most loyal, loving companion you could ask for. After she’s burned off her playful energy, she’s more than happy to soak up attention and cuddle close. If you’re looking for a fun-loving best friend who will keep you active, make you laugh, and shower you with affection, this sweet girl is ready to meet you. Her forever home is out there — maybe it’s yours? We do not have a facility for you to visit. You are welcome to email ccrcdogs@ccrcdogs.com with specific questions, but please complete the online application, which can be found at www.ccrcdogs.com, to secure your position in line for one of our dogs. You can also find a description of our process on that same page. Puppies will not be available to be seen until their 10-day quarantine has passed. Our adoption fees are listed on our website and cover the cost of the spay/neuter, age-appropriate shots and tests, medications to bring the dog to full health, and a free visit with one of our approved vets after adoption. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. CCRC has a variety of materials and resources to assist you with this, and we have trainers who will offer free phone/email support. March 1, 2026, 10:50 am
