Meet champ
~ I can live in any size home, including apartments.~ I have not had much experience with dog-savvy children but am willing to consider sharing my home with kids who can be gentle and respectful of pets.~ I have not had much experience with cats but am willing to share my home with a confident, dog-savvy cat.~ I may like to live with dogs, but I`d like to meet them first to make sure we get along.*~ I am calm but have my moments of energy and need to get some exercise every day.~ I am a great dog with lots of potential. I need a family with general dog experience. ~ I have some special needs but still have lots of life to live and love to give. Please ask the adoption counselor to explain when you visit with me.Champ is a staff and volunteer favorite, he brings smiles to everyone. He has an excitement for life about him that`s contagious. He loves to play fetch, he loves to snack and he loves to hang out with people. Champ is literally a champion and despite his heart condition, he has not slowed down at all. He is going to be on medication, but unfortunately one day, his heart will worsen. For now he is full of energy and pure joy to just adventure with his friends. Given his older age, Champ has become the perfect houseguest and has great manners. He is a perfect leash walker, he`s housebroken, and he knows all the tricks. We are eager to find Champ his retirement home that will adore him and offer him all the soft beds to lie on and all the toys in the world.
