Hi, I’m Ford!I’m a big, lovable guy with an even bigger heart. Don’t let my size fool you — I’m really just a gentle soul looking for a cozy place to call home. Once you hear my adorable howl, you’ll fall in love with me in no time.One of my favorite things to do is go on walks. I’m happy to stroll along at whatever pace you want, whether that’s a nice slow walk or something a little more upbeat. After a good late afternoon walk, I’m usually ready to relax, take a nap, and settle in for the night. I’m pretty good about bedtime too — around 10 PM, I’m ready to call it a day.I’m housetrained, crate trained, and I don’t need any special care — just love, snacks, and a nice big bone to chew on. I’ve done well with male and female dogs, including small dogs, and I seem to be a pretty easygoing guy overall.If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle best friend who enjoys walks, naps, and treats, I just might be your perfect match.My adoption fee includes up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and heartworm/flea prevention. Plus, a microchip that is already registered to you! What more could you ask for?If my bio shows “Spay/Neutered” with a checkmark, I have already been altered; if you do not see this listed, my surgery is still scheduled and a refundable spay/neuter deposit will be required, which will be returned within 24 hours after my procedure is completed.If you`d like to meet me, please fill out an application on our website, PawmettoLifeline.org.Adoptions are by appointment Tuesday through Thursday.
