Our daughter promptly named him Roosevelt. We posted in our local area.  but no one seemed to be missing a border collie. We had him vetted (neutered and rabies) at Shawnee Animal Hospital Sept 3, 2025.  He seems to be about middle aged, maybe 5-7?  and weighs about 40-45#. He is good around kids (including our special needs). He is ok with other dogs (though he needs far more attention and calm than our household provides). ; he might do better with just one other dog (we have 4 others and it's overwhelming for him). He will lay and sleep near our cats, but shows strong prey drive to chase and pin them if he sees them run  he'd probably be best in an environment without cats. He has done well in our yard around our birds (hasn't tried to chase them), but he was very afraid to stay in our barn or outside at night without people; he prefers to be indoors or with people. He is housetrained and leash trained.  He loves to give full hugs around your waist and likes to sleep on a pillow near our door. Asking a small fee $150 to ensure he goes to a good home. My site is updated daily.  All dogs carry an adoption fee which helps to pay for deworming, flea control, spay/neuter, HW test vaccinations and to fix any ailments they may have.
