Meet Wink
Wink is a Chihuahua born on 10/28/2019, and while her name is cute and playful, her little heart is still learning to feel safe. She’s a very shy girl, especially with new people, and it may take some time for her to fully trust and open up.
It’s clear that the shelter environment has left her feeling a bit shut down and unsure. She’s not a “jump right into your arms” kind of girl… she’s a “please be patient with me while I learn you’re safe” kind of girl.
What Wink truly needs is someone constant. Someone gentle. Someone willing to give her the time and space to blossom at her own pace. With patience, consistency, and love, we know this sweet girl will form the deepest bond and show her true, loving personality.
She deserves a home where she can finally exhale, feel secure, and learn what it means to be cherished. If you have a soft heart and a little extra patience, Wink just might be your girl.
Their adoption fee is $800, plus an additional $50 that includes six months of heartworm prevention. The adoption fee includes their care, de-worming, microchip, spay, vaccines, fecal test, and preventatives up to the point of adoption.
