Meet maddie
Maddie is a small Jack Russell Chihuahua mix. She was rescued from a puppy mill in PA when she was 10 weeks old.
We are rehoming due to her howling when we leave the apartment. Our landlord won’t allow it.
Positives:
Crate trained
Potty trained
Leash and harness trained
Loves to play, run, be outside
Cute, sweet, cuddly, aims to please, treat driven, good with other dogs (she is a dominant female though- meaning she may growl at a dog that is not submissive or try to get away from the dog. She also will try to eat another dogs food so separate eating areas is important for safety of both dogs)
Negatives:
Maddie has separation anxiety at times when you leave the house. She will howl if she knows your outside and she’s in a crate or loose in the house. Not the best fit for apartments due to this.
Not great in the car- she howls most of the drive. She is afraid of the car and will work herself up.
Not sure about kids. If kid home, must monitor closely so she feels safe.
