Meet scruffy
Scruffy is a distinguished senior gentleman who proves that age only makes a dog sweeter. At 7 years old and 73.4lbs, he brings a calm, steady presence and wonderful manners wherever he goes.He is very easy on leash, making walks relaxed and enjoyable. Scruffy loves to nuzzle in for pets and scratches, leaning gently into you for affection. In his temporary foster home, he has been thoroughly enjoying cozy snuggles on the couch — his favorite place is right by his person’s side. Scruffy is housetrained and settled in beautifully. He spent the night sleeping in his own room after just a few barks and then relaxed quietly. He truly loves being close to his person and won’t wander far — he’s happiest simply keeping you company.He also has the most adorable head tilts, especially when he’s watching TV (which he very much enjoys!). Well-behaved, affectionate, and wonderfully loyal, Scruffy is ready to spend his golden years in a loving home where he can share his gentle companionship every day.Scruffy has met other dogs at the shelter, he does best with tolerant friends and may need to meet any potential doggie roommates to make sure they are a good match.Scruffy is currently in the comfort of a foster home.
