Hi, I’m Connor 🐾
I’m 1½ years old. I’m looking for a calm, patient forever home. I was rescued from a country road as a skinny, scared puppy, so I can be shy and nervous at first. When I’m afraid, I may bark or nip — I just need time to feel safe. I’m a slow burn, but once I trust you, I’m completely loyal and loving.
I am very treat-motivated, which makes training with positive reinforcement a great way to help me continue building confidence. I respond best to patience, consistency, and kindness. Harsh corrections or raised voices only make me more afraid.
I do best with women or very gentle, quiet people. I’d prefer to be the only pet and likely wouldn’t do well with kids. I require regular activity and stimulation.
I love toys, bones, walks, running, cuddles, and watching squirrels from the window. I’m house broken, kennel trained, leash trained, and not food aggressive!
