Meet maverick
Maverick is 8 years old, we got him from a breeder and had him neutered at 6 months. He lives with a 6 year old 80lb Rottweiler and a 11 year old 15lb Shih Tzu as well as our 2.5 year old daughter.
He is high energy, playful and knowns a variety of commands. He's very cuddly with adults and young adults but we have come to realize he is not good with kids as he is nervous and reactive around them. He most recently snapped and nipped at our daughter in warning for her getting too close to him on the couch.
He has previously been possessive with his toys and treats/food around the other dogs at home. He has bitten both the Rottweiler and the Shih Tzu. He needs to be in a home where he is the only dog.
Maverick would thrive with someone with an active lifestyle. He does great outside of the home and is less aggressive towards other dogs in an open setting.
