Meet nellie
Don’t let her shy start fool you, Nellie has a heart of gold! This sweet Boxer/Beagle mix pup may take a minute to warm up in new situations, but once she does, she’s all sweetness and tail wags.
Nellie loves gentle playtime, cozy naps, and sticking close to her favorite humans. With her soulful eyes and soft nature, she’s the kind of puppy who bonds deeply and loves quietly but completely. She’d thrive in a patient home ready to help her build confidence and show her the world is a safe, happy place.
The adoption fee is $450 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.
We're open from 12-4 PM Tuesday - Saturday! Did you know you don't need to have an appointment to visit our available cats and dogs***? Simply drop by and if you find a potential new furry friend, you can fill out an application on the day you visit. Go to townandcountryanimalrescue.org to fill out our digital application. Applications are typically processed in 3-5 business days.
Once you're approved, you can return on the date and time set up by your adoption counselor, with your family for a meet and greet. If it goes well, you can take your new best friend home on the meet and greet day!
If you have other dogs in your home, they must all meet the potential adoptee.
***Please note that animals in foster homes cannot be viewed at our rescue, and appointments are still required to meet them.
