Meet ellie
Ellie is 5 yrs old, only 40lbs. She originally came from Texas but I got her at 6 months from a couple after their other dog didn’t accept her.
She is a sweetest girl who looooves people, the sunshine and cuddling up under the blankets.
Making this decisions is very difficult for us. As a single working parent with two young boys, I don’t feel like she’s getting the life she deserves. Ellie has confidence issues after being attacked by a dog at a park twice. I have done countless hours of training and she does respond to some of the training well but I am a single working parent with two young boys and sadly don’t have the bandwidth to truly help her.
Best situation- no other pets, only teenager +, someone that’s home a lot and loves to cuddle.
She is crate trained. Hates car rides. Loves the vet (but not the nail trims). Will resource guard food from animals or small kids. Lives with an early cat now but hates the neighbors cat so not sure how’d she do.
